Day III – Crap :(

So, I woke this morning at a ridiculous 5:30 am (no, that’s not the crappy part). About 2 hours later I was readying the camera to shoot the sunrise at which point my flexible tripod broke and fell to the ground – two floors down (no, that’s not the crappy part either). I eventually got the camera rolling and then headed out to get a much needed car wash – it was about 20km away but I didn’t mind as it was a beautiful morning for a drive. I’ll skip the details about washing the car because it was pretty much a standard self-serve car wash. Of course, on the way back I noticed another car wash that was only 5km from where I started (nope, still not the crappy part). After a walk along the beach to meet up with friends who are also vacationing here I went out in search of “breakfast” (it was probably about 1pm and I figured I should eat something today). I was supposed to meet up with them again for dinner at “Five Guys Burger and Fries” but as it turns out there are two of said restaurants in the area and I went to the wrong one :( sigh. (And yet, that’s not the crappy part either).

So, here’s the crappy part. I went out to my car this afternoon to find that one of the local seagulls had decided to christen it in a most unpleasant way. I swear they look for freshly washed cars. At least I had the top up. I was going to take a picture but no one really needs to see that. Trust me. It wasn’t pleasant – maybe he had a bad jellyfish for lunch (although, I’m not sure how that would differ from a “good” jellyfish!).
