Day Ten (again, I think)

I was able to switch my hotel and ferry bookings which meant I would be leaving the North Island a day ahead of schedule. The ferry ride was pretty much what I expected. The whole Wellington experience really reminded me of BC, which of course is never a bad thing!

A significant agenda alteration kicked in today. After a great deal of deliberation I decided I wanted to see more of the South Island than originally planned so I rented a car and I am now in Kaikoura on the east coast – I can hear the waves on the ocean as I type this. I’ve booked a tour for tomorrow afternoon and after that, well… I’ll deal with that when the time comes.
