The Crisis: Day One
Ok … so shockingly Day One didn’t go exactly (or remotely) as planned. That’s not to say there weren’t a LOT of ups and downs along the way, a general disregard for hydration and eating, and a few photos taken. But the big change of plans is that all of that stuff happened and I wasn’t even on my bike.
Realizing that finishing moving out of my apartment and a decent departure were clearly not going to coincide, I decided to finish the move at a more reasonable pace and get an early start on Day Two. Of course, by “reasonable pace” that somehow turned into still moving stuff at midnight.
SO, technically this is still Day One of the crisis but not Day One of the cycling. That’s what tomorrow is for.
