New Zealand: Looking back …

I’m sure I’ll think of other stuff but here’s a brief summary looking back over the past three weeks:

• Photos taken: 1, 782
• Good photos taken: Still working on that.

• Kilometres travelled – Bicycle: 850
• Kilometres travelled – Rental Car: 1,750
• Kilometres travelled – Hiking: A lot

• Flat tires (bicycle): 3

• Number of Days Dehydrated: Probably all of them.

• Rainy Days: 1 (but it stopped raining by the time I got to the campsite)

• Best decision: Renting a car for the South Island
• Worst Decision: Getting on the plane to go back home ;)

• Best Pre-trip purchase: Garmin eTrex 20 GPS (with City Navigator New Zealand Map)
• Worst Pre-trip purchase: Rain pants (it only rained once and it was after I had the rental car)

• Favourite Place: Arthur’s Pass

• Least Favourite Place: LAX

• Favourite Campsite: Murchison Motor Park

• Best airport wifi: Queenstown Airport (One click and you’re connected. The way it SHOULD be)
• Worst airport wifi: Auckland Airport (You only get 30 minutes. Seriously??)
