Day Thirteen (continued)

Okay, back online… for 16 more minutes…

Where did I leave off? Did I mention I’m up to picture number 1,000?

As is becoming the norm, today did not go as planned. I intended to go to Westport this morning but I took a short detour to check out a nearby waterfall. That was fine, still on schedule. Then I stopped at the longest swingbridge in New Zealand – which also offered a 15 minute hike. Well, unbeknownst to me that 15 minute hike had tangent hikes… blah blah blah, two hours later I was back on the road.

I arrived in Westport around 1pm, checked into my campsite, set up my dew-drenched tent, and the road for Denniston for more hiking in, oh look, more ridiculous scenery.
My internet access remains sketchy – the last two campsites had no internet at all… well, last night’s had internet but at $3.20 for 20MB I felt that was trouble waiting to happen!

I have no plan for tomorrow.
