Day Nine (I think)

My full day off in Wellington wasn’t as productive as I thought it was going to be. My front tire was flat when I woke up and while I wasn’t impressed, I would’ve been less impressed had it happened on the road yesterday… hmmmm… I guess technically it did but it was a slow leak at the time.

With the bike ready to go again I headed out for the Mt. Victoria lookout. yes, as the name suggests, said lookout is at the top of a very big and steep hill – but it was worth it. Sadly another flat struck on the way down :( Let me just say that controlling a speeding bike with a flat front tire is unpleasant. It was shaping up to be one of those days. AFter fixing the tire (again) I decided maybe I should go for a walk instead. The walk was beautiful – kind of like walking along harbourfront in Toronto except not having to be in Toronto :) Dinner was a venison pita pocket from a local vendor which was very good.
