Day Nineteen

Today has been by far the least eventful day of the trip.

I returned the rental car to the airport first thing this morning at which point I once again found myself cycling away from an airport. It was a beautiful morning for a ride – although it was early so it was still a bit on the chilly side (14 degrees).

After that it was just a completely lazy day. Sat around the campsite for a bit. Then went for a walk around the town – an actual normal walk. Not a couple hours hiking through rocks and dirt to get to the top of a mountain. In all honesty, walking like that is kind of boring. Then again, the benefit of a “normal” walk is the easy access to fish & chips :) I’ve certainly eaten more since I’ve been in Queenstown.

This might sound a bit morbid but next to the campsite is a cemetery (overlooking the mini-putt course). Well, I wandered through it and I have to say it was very cool. If it’s a clear night tonight I’m going to go back for some pictures under the full (or nearly full) moon :)

(Insert passage of time transition here)

Well, it was a clear night but not really enough moonlight for good pictures. Oh well.

Thus ends my uneventful, yet enjoyable day.
